𝑃𝑜𝑒𝑡𝑟𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠
• writing the emotion & the light of an instant •
There was that time when I hated almost everything about me, when I felt like I was out of place – within my body and within the world – always elsewhere, always standing apart, often sad.
There was that time of slaps written in red calligraphy, that time punished by senseless figures.
There was that time when the expressions of my extreme sensitivity were censored – even though they were my outlets in front of this world that left me terrified.
There was that time… and one day, there was this sparkling encounter, dazzling like a camera flash. This encounter was with photography.
I needed to find the light, to capture it, to write it down. And a black camera body in my hands, I succeeded.
And slowly, I reconnected with the quill and the brush… Slowly, I found again the other voices of my creativity, the other expressions of my emotivity.
Today, all have come together. Today, all are bound to one another.

Il y a eu cette époque où je détestais presque tout de moi, où je ne me sentais pas à ma place – dans mon corps, dans le monde – toujours ailleurs, toujours à l’écart, souvent triste.
Il y a eu cette époque de claques calligraphiées au stylo rouge, cette époque sanctionnée par des chiffres insensés.
Il y a eu cette époque où l’on a bridé les expressions de mon hypersensibilité – mes exutoires face à ce monde qui me laissait terrifiée.
Il y eu cette époque… et puis un jour, il y a aussi eu cette rencontre étincelante, éclatante comme le flash d’un appareil photo. Cette rencontre avec la photographie.
J’avais besoin de trouver la lumière, de la capturer, de l’écrire. Et un boîtier noir entre les mains, j’y suis arrivée.
Et peu à peu, j’ai renoué avec la plume et le pinceau… Peu à peu, j’ai retrouvé les autres voix de ma créativité, les autres expressions de mon émotivité.
Aujourd’hui, toutes se sont alliées. Aujourd’hui, toutes sont reliées.
